A poem wrote recently about my first Contact Improv dance (“Contact improvisation is a form of improvised dancing that has been developing internationally since 1972. Contact improvisation involves the exploration from one’s body to the next by using the fundamentals of sharing weight, touch, being kinetically aware and finding a point of contact between you and your partner(s)”)*.
In the birth of separation a longing was also born.
The whole became personas that yarn for the unknown.
The unknown known by many titles: freedom, silence, happiness; union and love.
All parts seek their whole, though it is in them and of them.
Temporary individualism a reality of illusion.
When we dance, touch, gaze, I am a seeking the other part in you; that is me, that is you, that is all!
This is the pleasure of the creator seeking itself.
